Babolat celebrates the game's oldest Grand Slam with this special cosmetic version of the Pure Drive

Introducing the Pure Drive Wimbledon 2025! Featuring the same specs and playability as the standard version, this racquet's cosmetic is inspired by the green lawns of Wimbledon. On the court, the Pure Drive Wimbledon offers an unmistakably easy learning curve to virtually anyone looking to play aggressive tennis. Although it reserves its greatest charm for the baseliner who likes dictating action with heavy pace, it's also dangerous in the front court, where the quick handling and powerful response practically beg you to finish volleys with a bang. Serving is another strength of the Pure Drive, where surgically placed slices and kickers are as easy to hit as flat bombs down the T. Technologies include an updated version of NF2 Tech, a dampening technology that uses flax fibers in the throat to smooth out harsh vibrations. This model also inherits FSI Power from the previous generation, consisting of a bundle of technologies that enable the racquet to transfer more energy to the ball (think easy power). Other features include Babolat's HTR System, a layup construction that stiffens the hoop in a way that not only enhances power but also creates more stability and less frame wobble on off-center impact (think rebound control). Ultimately, for the player who wants a lightning-fast racquet with easy access to power and spin, there are few better options than the Pure Drive. The fact that this generation is softer and more comfortable than previous versions is a very nice bonus.

Great RacquetI bought this to upgrade to 2025 as I prefer to move on with time rather than lingering on the past thanks to TW trade in program cause I keep my racquets in good shape and they give a good trade in credit towards new. New racquet is more comfortable and has more power. The biggest adjustment is muted feeling that new has as opposed to previous one. You'll be fine in two hours and adjusted. You can stay with previous version and you don't have to buy new unless you are like me, previous one is great.

Decent RacquetThis is a racquet that prevents you from playing half way shots expecting for buck-ups to work. You will need to swing all the way with this racquet. I find it helps my play especially when working to improve setting to play a point.

Love this RacquetPlenty of power and spin... much less jarring than previous models. I played every power racquet and this was my excalibur.

Great improvement in feelI’ve tried Pure Drive (*also Roddick and Tour versions) since 2012, but I was never able to choose Pure Drive as my main stick. I think the hollow feel was the main issue. It took away from enjoyment of feeling the impact. This version, however, has all the traits of power, spin, stability and ease of play that Pure Drive is known, plus the nice connected feel. The solid feel makes all the shots feel more consistent and predictable, which encourages me to be more aggressive. I think the 2025 version is a solid update. Nice job, Babolat!

Fantastic all around racquetI switched to this racquet after using an older Babolat Aero Pro Drive for many years including playing with it in college. Reviews and videos online describe the Pure Drive as a power racquet and the Pure Aero as a spin racquet. I agree the Pure Drive helps add a little more pop, but make no mistake, the Pure Drive can still generate plenty of spin depending on your strokes. I would highly recommend demoing this racquet to see how it suits your game and then if you like it, its good looks are a bonus

ExcellentNew to the sport so I don’t have a lot of background, but this is my second racquet and it’s a solid winner in my book. It’s heavier than my first racquet, so it gives me more power with less effort (or so it seems). Highly recommend.

Best tennis surprise in yearsI'm a 4.0 counter-puncher player in my mid 40s that do not have time to practices as much as in couple years ago. So I decided to move on from my 3rd Gen 98 in2 Pure Strike (19x16) in seek for extra free power. As I did not want to spend weeks demoing, I decided to go straight to the extremes, and demoed the 2025s Ezone 100 and Pure Drive. Also gave the Speed MP a chance in the demo order, but only because of friends' recommendations. I was skeptical, as I thought (by reading internet reviews) it'd be too much of a jump from a control-oriented racket to two of the most powerful racquets. I struggled a bit with timing my backhand with the Ezone, but I really liked it in all other aspects. However, with the Pure Drive, it felt just like hitting with my previous Pure Strike with just that extra pop I was looking for. Comfort is there, power is there, maneuverability is a lot there and, with the proper string setup, control is there. Made the move and won all my last 4 matches. Couldn't be happier.

I love this racquet!I just bought this racquet about a month ago and I love it. I am a beginning to intermediate player and it feels great in my hand and it is not too heavy or too light. My coach has played with it as well and she says it is a great racquet. Highly recommend!

Best power racquet on the market.Longtime blade/pro staff style racquet user here. Haven’t meshed well with more powerful modern beam shape racquets in the past but I really enjoyed this one. In the past I struggled with balancing that easy power with enough spin to get the ball down into the court. Felt like I should shape the ball really well with this stick and could swing out on all of my shots with confidence. No arm issues and much more comfortable than previous models I have tried. 4.5 NTRP strung with Mach 10 @ 46lbs.

Great for beginner and intermediate playerThe racquet has great power and spin with larger sweet spot which gives me more forgiving. When I play with it, I feel that it has slightly lighter (head), still feel heavier /solid than Yonex Ezone 100 ()2025) although both of them are designed in a very similar way. The benefit for the head lighter racquet is that it is easier to swing. So, overall, I think it is the best choice for beginner and Intermediate players or those looking for easier power and a more user-friendly all-around racquet.

2025 Pure DriveI have been a Pure Drive user for about 15 years and I recently purchased the 2025 version. The new version maintains the trademark playing characteristics with a nice upgrade to the feel and a very slight reduction in raw power. The recommended string tension has been lowered to 46-55 which keeps your setup in an arm friendly range. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Great racquet not strungMy H/S daughter loves this racket. Buy it unstrung and get it done by your local pro shop. I had to get it re-strung immediately because it wasn’t to the tension I requested. Otherwise a great racquet and fast shipping. Tennis Warehouse is a good company to deal with

Slight Improvement over previous Pure DriveI noticed the difference between my old Babolat 2021 Pure Drive vs. the 2025. The new racquet was muted, but in a good way. I felt like I had more control with the 2025. I would not upgrade unless you had a good reason because the minor difference is not worth spending $300 racquet and strings. That said, I am happy with the new racquet, and I would recommend it to others.

Best pure driveI like it of its lighter, less stiff, easy power. I feel I have a weapon in my hand. Love it. It’s the best racquet I ever have. I have used more than 20 different racquets, among them at least 5 different Babolat. I never felt of loving any of those racquets, but this one.

Awesome versionI hate the crazy vibrations from Pure Drives. I struggled with too much feel and had to go to a hybrid just to tone it down. This is a more muted solid feeling version. Still stiff and still has some feel just a lot less. I prefer the more solid, more muted version so I don’t have to play with Head racquets and can use full poly without over vibrations. Reminds me of the Pure Aero 2023 feel. Still super powerful as the last one.

Beginner or advanced, go get it!I've been using the 30th Anniversary Pure Drive and absolutely loved how it felt. Wanting a second racquet for the tournament season, I decided to get the new Pure Drive, and the transition was impressively smooth. What stands out with this model is the balance it strikes. You still get plenty of power on your serves, forehands, and backhands, but thanks to the integrated NF²-Tech, it offers just the right amount of dampening. This combination feels amazing, delivering comfort without compromising the power and explosiveness the Pure Drive is known for. If you're a previous Pure Drive user, I wholeheartedly recommend upgrading—this racquet won't disappoint. Even if you're new to the Pure Drive, it’s a fantastic choice. Its versatility makes it suitable for players of all levels, whether you're just starting or have years of experience.

Not As good as previousDisappointed - Reduced stiffness and swingweight make it not a real Pure Drives, the previous model is much better. Stiffness is not a bad thing and it's the poor technique that causes injuries.

New Pure Drive RocksI was lucky enough to get a demo of this new Pure Drive and let me tell you this is a nice looking frame. Every man and woman at the club said it looks great. So how does it play? Well, I have owned the current gen as well as my wife (she also tested this) and this one has all the power but it is less stiff for sure and much more comfortable to hit with. We both felt it had better control and is more predictable. Same string set up and tension. This is a great update as it is still the Pure Drive but just more comfy and still powerful. It is not muted at all, you can feel the racquet and it seems easier to whip around for whatever reason . Playing with a multi Babolat Excel 17 gauge at around 52 tension.
