Radio Thailand is a public radio station of Thailand. National Broadcasting Service of Thailand operates this. Radio Thailand World Service (RTWS) is the international service of NBT. Radio Thailand started its journey on 28 October 1938. It was under call sign HSK9. Radio Thailand is still using this call sign on its broadcast. HSK9 B17 schedule of Radio Thailand World Service shows it’s replaced 15590 kHz by 13745 kHz.
Radio Thailand World Service began its external service with broadcasts in foreign language under the call sign HSK9 on the 20th of October 1938.

On June 24, 1932, the administrative system of Thailand changed from an absolute monarchy to constitutional one. The Public Broadcasting Department (PRD) was set up on May 03, 1933. It was established to carry out the task of informing the people on parliamentary democracy.
Radio Thailand World Service (HSK9) is a state owned international broadcasting station of Thailand. National Broadcasting Service of Thailand (NBT) operating Radio Thailand’s regional and international broadcasting. From 1938 Radio Thailand HSK9 started broadcasting from Thailand.
